Katie posted this on April 29 and said it would be 2 weeks, which would make it next week, May 13-ish.  Makes sense... timing jives with past years and they have that NYC event next weekend 

Definitely coming out this week. I'd bet on Monday or Tuesday.

I like this list! Maybe someone like Charli D'Amelio instead of Alix Earle in the "influencer" space, (but either are fine, for the record), or, separately, Vittoria Ceretti for another VS x SI crossover.

It's SI Swimsuit 2025 release day! What did / does everyone think? I liked Penny, the Herbert twins, Livvy Dunne, and Brooks Nader the best. Next fav was Hailey Van Lith. I'll update once I've had a chance to fully go through it.

I wish Penny had a much bigger focus. They need to give her the attention she deserves! Definitley due a cover next her. Also maybe a more tropical themed shoot.

Cover ladies:

Raising my head above the parapet once again. Disappointed in Chan and Chiles covers. Hayek and Dunne ones ok but not earth shattering.

Have not seen mag yet bc the former app is nowhere to be found. Does anyone have the SI Swimsuit app? Or is it defunct?

Cannot believe MJ is still at its helm—just more same o, same o. Same photographers same poses same tired messages. Swimwear is abysmal.

No wonder the designers abandoned this sinking ship. Now SI has swimwear for sale under its own banner in Amazon(!) for less than ten bucks! Who could stay in business against those margins??!!

The swimwear is HIDEOUS.

Oh the covers........

Not really impressed with any cover or shoots tbh. Like someone else mentioned, same old, same old. MJ needs to be fired. SI needs some fresh blood.

It's hilarious how there are almost more athletes or "celebrities" rather than models.

And the models chosen really don't have a model like body besides the Herbert twins (with the exception of Penny and Christen because they have bombshell bodies).

And some of the "models" they did choose don't know how to photograph lol some of their poses and facial expressions....whew.

Let's be honest, it's been a trainwreck for years, Pretty much since MJ took over.

This year looks like more of the same. But at least, at first glance, does not appear worse than past years.

The lines between model and "celeb" are pretty blurry today, with social media and all. Separately, by definition, the athletes will be more athletic / toned than non-athletes.

That said, I totally understand everyone's feelings above.
