Here's the news I've gotten about my father. I'm a little disturbed by this:

1. Quit his job for "inexplicable reasons" about 9-10 months ago and has been out of work since.

2. Is living off food stamps and hittnig up social services to help cover his utilities. but is about to be put out of his apartment.

3. He claims he "cannot find a job".

4. He's hitting up my uncle for money for his phone bill, though my uncle was not aware that he was calling my mom about 47 times a day (more on that in a minute). However, my aunt told her husband who told my uncle, and now they've pretty much said no more money for Dad.

5. My father is claiming that my mother went up to minnesota and took his loan money. Which he explained to my uncle, who said he was "off the wall" and should forget about it. Knowing my father, he won't. He's been calling my mom about it since, but she won't pick up the phone and he's only left one message so we'll see

6. My family is trying to get him help but he refuses. So I don't know what's going on on that front.

7. Mom has the paperwork for a restraining order ready, so if he tries anything, we'll file it. I've talked to the deputy sheriff next door and the neighbor across the street, and they're keeping an eye out for him

on another brighter note, i sent out your Guess? catalog, plus AV clippings, plus a few TSE clippings i had. unfortunately not all the TSE clippings are in perfect condition ...let's just say Vanity Fair gave me a hard time that day
