^A deep conditioning treatment or two might help.

Do you use conditioner on your hair everytime you wash it?

I got my hair cut!

I tell the girl "Just reduce 4 fingers" and she take a big bunch of my hair and says "but all of this is really burned" and I tell her "Then go ahead and cut all that's burned"

I have it quite short now, never had it like this.. just when I was about 8 years old.. but I love it!

Do you have short, medium, or long hair?

Long.

Are you a blonde, red-head, or brunette?

Brunette.

Do you dye it often or leave it natural?

Natural. I want to dye it a darker colour, though.

What kind of products do you use?

Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner.

Is it fine, thin, or thick?

It isn't very thick, but I wouldn't call it thin.

Is it naturally straight, curly, or wavy?

Wavy.

How often do you cut your hair?

Not very often. Longer than three months.

I had four inches cut off my hair a few months ago, but it still stops an inch away from my bottom. It's brown, wavy, loves to tangle, with Liv Tyler bangs.

I got my hair cut!

It was almost reaching my butt, and got it cut down til my shoulders. I actually love it, because it looks great when I don't use any cream to make it wavy, it looks good natural, and straight too.

Great topic!

Do you have short, medium, or long hair?

Short growing into medium; the length I look best with.

Are you a blonde, red-head, or brunette?

Brunette with a lot of red tones.

Do you dye it often or leave it natural?

I started going grey in my late 20s; now, I dye it every 5-6 weeks and highlight every other session.

What kind of products do you use?

Mainly Redken for now but I love Charles Worthington in the orange bottles at drugstores. It just makes my hair feel thick and shiny. I also used to go to a stylist who liked certain high-end products but said using VO5 hot oil conditioner 1-2 x/week really helped hair look better. So I do that, too.

Is it fine, thin, or thick?

It's on the thicker side.

Is it naturally straight, curly, or wavy?

Straight.

How often do you cut your hair?

Every 5-6 weeks I get a trim.

My hair is just about back to where it used to be before it was ruined almost a year ago. I don't know if my stylist at the time was busy or her thoughts were elsewhere but what was supposed to be a coloring appointment turned into a mess when she somehow got perm solution mixed into the highlights. After 30 minutes under the dryer, my hair was ruined. I had someone else try to cut the worst parts out but it just looked worse and I ended up doing hair extensions for about six months. The thing that really bothered me about what happened was that when I went back to the original stylist the day after my appt. and showed her all the broken ends, she got a friend of hers to come over and they both told me it wasn't anything done wrong; it was the cold weather. Her friend said "four of her clients had their hair break off in the last two weeks....." Please!

^ Oh that would've sucked.

At least it's getting back to normal now.

The worst hair catastrophe I've had was about 2 years ago when I went to a new stylist and she cut my hair nearly 4 inches shorter on one side than the other and claimed it was even on both sides.

I hate when hair dressers does that!^ Thats why I always let my aunt cut my hair. She is a hairdresser and knows what I want
