Forget Beckham's boxers for a second - now it's all about Gandy's pants. After years of posing in his smalls on international catwalks and in ad campaigns, the 34-year-old is teaming up with Marks & Spencer on his own range of underwear - the male equivalent of the brand's successful partnership with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

The 28-piece David Gandy for Autograph collection will launch in London on 18 September and will feature a selection of underwear, vests and nightwear. And it sounds as though the 34-year-old was very hands on during the design process. 

"I'm delighted to be working with Marks & Spencer on this collaboration," says Gandy. "It's the first time that I've been involved with the design and creation of a collection and I've thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I've been keen to focus on the detail, from the quality of materials and everyday comfort and fit, to style, so that they are at the heart of each piece and form the basic essentials of the range."

The Essex-born model has a long relationship with the British retailer and is the current face of their Menswear brand - so the partnership seems a natural and fitting one. David Gandy for Autograph launches in Marks & Spencer stores worldwide and online from 18 September.
