Not much, mostly preparing for college. I think I finally have a good plan. Community college for my Associates of Applied Science degree, then Oregon Health and Science University for my Bachelor's. Very excited, can't wait to start school. I'm even going to be doing some school this summer. I'm a dork.

that's good! it's good that you're going to college... and you're majoring in science right?... i mean, ur getting the degree for it, so i'm thinking ur majoring in it...? and ur not a dork for going to school! education is very important... the more you go to school, the smarter u get, the smarter u get, the better job u get, and the better job you get, the more money u get!!! so are u just going for ur bachelor's degree or are u going to go back for ur master's as well?

I'm going to school for Nursing, actually. And the Associates of Applied Science is the degree Nurses get to become a Liscensed Practioner Nurse ( LPN ). It's only a two-year degree, so you don't make as much as a Registered Nurse ( RN ) who has to go to four years of school for the Bachelors. I plan on going all the way and getting my Bachelor's.

What I like about Nursing is that .. you get paid very well right out of school, sometimes you can get hospitals to actually pay for your college if you agree to work at that hospital after you've graduated, and you can get sign-on bonuses with hospitals that I've heard can be up to $10,000. Not to mention, I can work as a Nurse anywhere in the country .. Hawaii here I come!

Last night I was making cheesecake and I pulled it out of the oven to see if it was ready and I went to push the oven rack back in and I burned my fingers on my right hand. I wasn't thinking and I had the potholder in my left hand.

I literally thought my skin was going to melt off it hurt so bad. But, they're fine now .. but you can see the red marks on my fingers where I grabbed the oven rack. Ouch...
