I'm leaning toward shorter dresses, and so far I like

i've only dressed formally to weddings or parties or dinners or.... umm... oh yeah one dance... those dresses are kinda to me... but i like the third one best.

For my Junior prom I went in a black and red empress cut dress made of faux velvet and carted my friend around on a dog leash all night Senior year I had this lacy...thing. My mom said I looked like Stevie Nicks

omg, i saw the most gorgeous dress the other day. I was just walking by in the mall and i fell in love with the thing. It's just a strapless, classic floor length princess gown, but I want it!!!

of course, my days of proms and formals are pretty much over, so there's no reason to get it, but I still want it.

if it were white instead of salmon colored I'd use it as my wedding dress. it was purty

for this years homecoming i wore a black lacy dress that was really long on the back and short on the front..it was pretty..and i had gloves too.. that was a good night

except for the fact that my date got drunk of the "fruit punch" <_<

Tell her to keep it, never know when she'll have to go to a really fancy wedding. Plus if you ever go on a cruise, they have the formal nights and she could wear it then.

Lol, I still have all my dresses. I plan on wearing my golden one that I wore to prom in november for the Marine ball that they have every year. The advantages of dating a Marine. I get to dress up

I like this dress...if you like short dresses. And I really like the color, it's bright and happy.

I was just wondering why we don't have a thread like this where we can post our prom experience or some suggestions about dress, shoes, hair make up etc.

I've already bought my dress, and in an hour I'm going to go out and buy the shoes so within a week I'll post photos of me wearing them

but now I'm having issues deciding what to do with my hair...I'm thinking about something more like this:
