For a long time I did not find Penelope attractive at all or a good actress at all even though I saw several of her America movies ('bandidas' 'sahara' 'blow' 'all the pretty horses' 'captain corelli' etc) -- until a few years ago when I saw the American-made movie 'Noel'. After that, I watched lots of her non-American movies ('woman on top' & 'twice upon a yesterday' & 'open your eyes' & 'love can seriously damage your health' & 'the good night') & later I saw some touchingly honest interviews. She grew on me. Her personality & acting talent led me to see her physical beauty. If you have not seen her act terrifically in a great movie, then I recommend 'Volver' & 'Don't move' & 'Don't tempt me'.
