yea, Brett Myers has let us down. but your Dodgers will be fine.

Yeah, we straight ALREADY!!! Arizona lost to the Cardinals, so the Dodgers are IN THE PLAYOFFS!!! (Y) :blueeyedbaby: :hell yea!:  Our opponents, however, have yet to be determined. If the Brewers get the wild card(which I doubt). Dodgers will play whoever wins the east, NY or Philly. However, I hoping the Brewers do get the wild card, because if they don't, the Dodgers play the Cubs, and NOBODY want to play the Cubs, ESPECIALLY IN THE 1ST ROUND!!! In the regular season, we play Philly 8 times, and broke even. We won all our home games, ditto for them. With the Mets we won 2 out of 3 at Dodger Stadium, they won 2 out of 3 at Shea. However, we played the Cubs 7 times, and we only won 2.

Regardless, you said it. Anyway, now, I AM EXCITED!!! The Dodgers up 9-1 RIGHT NOW!!! It's the bottom of the 8th, and unless the Cubs can pulll off some remarkable comback, L.A. will be up 2-0 in the series. And I seriously doubt Chicago come back FROM THAT!!! So, Matt, you and the Phillies better get ready. WE COMIN'!!! :jimmy: :lullaby: :blueeyedbaby:

Cool. The Dodgers are going to the NLCS!!! (Y) :blueeyedbaby:  :hell yea!: Meanwhile, Philly had a little mishap with the Brewers and now have to play a game 4. Take that, MATT!!! Your team couldn't take out a team that barely sqeaked into the playoffs, while my team SWEPT the beat team in the NL!!! And they got shut down by DAVE BUSH!!! At least losing to CC Sabathia would have been RESPECTABLE!!! But hey, maybe it was just bad luck on Philly's part and you guys will take care of business tomorrow. After all, you are going to face Jeff Suppan, how hard can that be?

That game 1 of the finals is my favorite game ever. I have it recorded Iverson stepping over Lue, oh man that was a classic moment.

Those 2 out of 3 are in the past, so anything could happen

I do agree with you there. Only Boston has came back from being down 0-3. Every game Dodgers vs. Phillies have been won by the home team. I'm hopin that that trend will continue, and hopefully L.A. can break the trend if the series goes back to Philly.

Well, here I am. To you and your Phillies, CONGRATS!!! You guys had the better team, and my Dodgers couldn't overcome. Whoever thought that there would be a Phillies-Rays WORLD SERIES?! Now, I usually go for the team that represents the NL, but I might have to root for T.B should they make it. I mean, Evan Longoria was born in Downey, and went to Long Beach State. Can't root against a fellow Angelino, can I?

Half of the Phillies lineup is from southern cal though

True enough, but did you take any solace when the Lakers beat Philly because Kobe is a Philly native? I hardly doubt it. Plus, I said fellow Angelenos, born and raised. Cole Hamels doesn't count. He is from San Diego. Scott Eyre might have been born in Inglewood, but grew up in Montana. So, the only born and raised Angelenos are Chase Utley, Greg Dobbs, and Ryan Madson. And Actually, Tampa Bay has other SoCal natives besides Longoria. James Shields is also from the L.A. area. Besides, its kinda hard to root for a team that defeated my hometown team, isn't it?
