I should have worded myself better, not overrated is you`re thinking..but rather good, yet overrrated to a certain extent.

And you just gave some proof, you`re judging him on commercials, just like many others do. I already said why I think Ronaldinho is overrated. Overrated doesn`t necessarily mean bad, especially in my books. Judging by his commercials is not a fair comparison, Beckham has amazing commercials too, does he play good?

I never said Brasil wasn`t good. I`m saying their attackers are overated, especially oposing to their defence. Destroy everybody? Did you see their last 2 games in World Cup qualifying? Peru almost destroyed them last game.

Brasil is a good team, they have all the young talent and great players--but until I see them do better in the competition, I`m not gonna think they`re the best. At this point, Argentina holds that spot. And same goes for Ronaldinho, untill he wins some cups, I`m not gonna rate his as the best player in the world. A best player is someone like Maradona, he moves to a team like Napoli, and comes out on top with them.

Other reasons why I think Ronaldinho is overrated is that people are amazed by his tricks that it becomes their main focus. The best tricky player in the world, is not the best player in the world. Those Nike ads and whatever else he does, make him look like he`s God. He`s not Barca`s most essential player.. Xavi, Puyol, even Deco are more important.

That`s just my opinion Tricks and stuff are amazing to watch..but that doesn`t make you world`s best player.

Brazil can't be judged by their qualification performances. In the qualification period for the 2002 WC they played very very bad and when the WC came they won it, even in Brazil they were amazed that they won since they didnt expect a good performance from their team..

I mean, you hvae to understand that all of brazil's player play in european teams and when they go to play in the qualifications they dont play to their full potential since they have their minds in their leagues and CL or UEFA Cup, to not get tired too much.

If you want we can bet  for the 2006 WC

and yes commercial do make every player look amazing, but Ronaldinho is different, without him barcelona hadn't won the league since '99. He arrived last season (2003-2004). I followed barcelona through the whole season; they played very good for like 2 months, then ronaldinho got injured and they started playing very very bad, at some point they were like 12th...then when ronaldinho started playing they became the best team of spain recovering a lot of points (also thanks to an amazing half season of Davids) finishing 2nd in the league. Ronaldinho is KEY for Barcelona.
