problem with VS is they over use red and yellow....i personally dont like that so i always adjust the scan colors....since i do it i post it here.

I can't speak for others, but if I scanned, I'd find it pretty rude to have my scans "corrected" when there isn't anything wrong with them except you like different colours...

a lot of people have started complaining so i wont be posting them here anymore....mind you...i had iris' permission to work on them...we were talking on aim...i normally ask if i can tweak the scans.

and its not just the colors that i adjust....i also sharpen and do some filtering where the pictures need it....ill do a scan now for example to show you how they look when they arent filtered and sharpened and the colors adjusted....but i removed all those edits.....people have been complaining recently anyways...

mind you i scan at 1200dpi and my process envolves shrinking and filtering....this is my finished scan...

this one i just did and i scanned at 300dpi....at 1200 you can see more then at 300 but the file size is very big and i wont be able to host it....i barely can host this picture....

what i wanna know is..since when does VS NOT send out a catalog to anyone but their credit card holders? i was in the store and that's the story they gave me..she wouldn't even give me a free one

yea you have to pay for them at VS

WTF..I've never owned a VS Credit card and I've received every catalog for three years..I really hope this isn't a new policy of theirs..they'd lose business I'd imagine

my luck ran out....i had to start putting neo as my first name and i got the tulum one and ipex one...now i didnt get any.

i have tried my mom's name, dad's name, neice's name....everything...no luck....ill start trying saddam

i feel better...well not really....but damnit..she said i'd have to buy something from the catalog to get one now! that BIATCH...i want a FREE ONE!

They've been getting a lot of shit from environmental groups (EX: the people who crashed and got cancelled the NY stop of the Angels tour; they also demonstrated at the LA final stop) who say they're killing precious historical forests. They may have reduced mailings to non-regular customers. I don't think you have to have a credit card to get them though.

dam the enviornmental groups....iris didnt get to see adriana because of them...and they wouldnt let me takes pics at the LA stop so i could give them to iris.

i just think its stupid..not everyone has computer access and not everyone wants a CC...but why can't we fillout a mailing card and get one? i shouldn't have to buy a stupid catalog just to see if i want to order.....

i did some adjustments to my original ipex cover scan....i was working on the "example" i posted earlier and did a better color adjustment so i applied it to my original scan...

its more natural looking now....i always go for the natural look.
