Adriana Lima Introduces Baby Valentina to the World

Supermodel Adriana Lima is finally showing off her bundle of joy in the premiere issue of HOLA! Brazil. Posing alongside her husband, Serbian basketball player Marko Jaric, the two are all smiles with daughter Valentina, whom Lima gave birth to on November 15, 2009.

In the interview, Lima opens up about her difficult pregnancy, adding Valentina was delivered six weeks early after the Victoria's Secret model was diagnosed with preeclampsia, a condition in which high blood pressure and protein develop after the twentieth week of pregnancy. The only way to cure preeclampsia is to deliver the baby, and their little girl arrived weighing only 4.4 pounds.

Today, both mother and daughter are happy and healthy.

Lima gushed about her baby to PopEater back in April. "I am blessed and fortunate to have a loving and supportive husband and family, including my mother, to help out, so when it comes to juggling, we will manage. We are grateful that we are all there to support one another," Lima said.

"I am very thankful that I had such a great mom and hope I can follow in her footsteps and be a role model for my daughter as my mom was for me," she added.

The Brazilian model, who famously declared her intention to remain a virgin until marriage, started dating Jaric in 2006. The pair became engaged in 2008, on Lima's 27th birthday, and married in 2009 -- on Valentine's Day -- in a small, private ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Before you guys get this scans, I will say it: They are HORRIBLE. My scanner is small and the magazine is HUGE so this is the best I can do I'm sure that better scans will be online soon (Sasha, please lol) so this is what I can share for now. At least we can see all the images etc..
