oh my gosh!facebook is starting to have an epidemic!
parents and relatives epidemic!
i swear! my dad has one... my uncle has one... my grandma's mom has one!
and its such a pain having to block them each time i upload photos!!!
but yeah! people stay on facebook to play games! i don't get it! well poker i get... but like... all those other games like farmville... i don't get the point...

I know a teacher that added students she used to teach :| that's...creepy.
And I saw my dad got an invitation on his mail to join facebook 
haha, I think (hope) she won't start his account.... Anyway, he won't find me :evil:
And FarmVille!! I know sooo many people addicted to this game!!
A few weeks ago I visited ohnotheydidnt and somebody there (an author, I mean, op made a post there) had a farmville avatar!! And then, in the comments, people posted their FarmVille photos

and im like... what the hell!!! what am i? twelve?!!!!!!!!!!!

I know people want to stay connected but still having your parents watch your every status update, seeing your every photo, it controls who you are a bit, and it scares me personally. That's why i only add people my age who won't be judging me like that or anyone older that does not know me aswell.

That is the biggest reason I don't have facebook. I do not want my mom reading things about me. My mother has a facebook and twitter page. wtf mom? I don't have either its weird. I love my mother but what the hell could she be saying on facebook and twitter? "I'm a mother of 13 and single". I don't get it. Maybe one day I will get facebook but not anytime soon.

Hey, I know this thread is not about technical "problems" but as it is directly dedicated to Facebook, I thought it would be more appropriate to ask it here... if it's not... then I'm sorry, mods 
I wanted to ask, does anyone know if there is still this option on facebook that automatically cancells unread messages and unaccepted invitations after 30 days? And where and how to set it? Or if there was such an option, in the first place Because at around the time I started using fb (it was more than a year ago) I am pretty sure it was, but now when I try to find it, I can't.... I even asked my friend about it, because I even thought she told me about it, but she said she didn't 
^ FB, gets updated far to frequently layout etc etc. So the option is probably still there, however it might have just been moved. Having said that. i have never heard of being able to do that. i'll have a look for you tho
