Okay, so... I'm going to vent again!

Today was an interesting day....

There is a high schooler on my bus who pees her pants every afternoon when she gets on the bus, and mixed with the heat it gets so strong that the 50 minute ride home is nearly unbearable for me with the smell!! My stomach feels like it's in little knots by the time she gets off. And given, I know she's special needs but I'm not sure how much of it is actually due to her handicap... she has sight issues, she's legally blind in one eye and it's clear her behavior is a part of her special needs, but because of the special needs she is very coddled at her house and basically gets whatever she wants from her mother. She is about my height, I would say, 5'4-5'6 possibly.... and around 300-350 pounds. She is in a wheelchair because of this. I know that it's because of her weight because needing a wheelchair was not always an issue. I knew some drivers who drove her to school around 5 years ago and they said she used to walk, it was difficult for her because of her weight, but she did not need the wheelchair. She also has severe athsma. Given, this may not be because of her weight but I have a strong feeling it is a factor. She needs breathing treatments every day and last year when we had her her mother made us wait 15 minutes outside their house every morning so they could do the treatments! I'm sorry, but you know when we'll be there so wouldn't it be a courtesy to start the treatment 15 min before you know we'll be there? Perhaps if she were to lose weight it wouldn't be such an issue. and the bathroom thing.... I'm not sure if perhaps she has some sort of bladder issue or she is embarrased to say something because she needs help to go to the bathroom, or maybe she is just too lazy to go use an actual restroom, but when she goes it is usually A LOT of urine! Which tells me she was holding it and causes me to doubt it's a bladder problem. I'm sure I'll leanr things tomorrow that will make me feel like an awful person for everything I'm saying right now and trust me, I'm no skinny minnie, so I probably have no room to talk about other people's "weight issues" but right now it's irritating me so I'm gonna vent! Haha.

So, then, after work....

I got back to work (and my mother works at the same place) and my mom tells me "your dad called". And I'm like "huh? Here? " and she was like "yeah, he remembered I worked for the schools and looked up the number and they pointed him here." And I was kinda relieved cause he got out of prison yesterday and didn't have my new address, long story, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get in contact with him again, but he found me! Anyway, he made plans to meet up with her, me, and my daughter tonight so we could all chill and catch up on things. So, we went down to the mall and it was pretty fun. Apparently, when you work in prison, they pay you a small portion of your wages to buy things while you're in there (cigarettes, etc.) and they hold back a portion to give you when you are released. Well, he had been in there 5 years and when he was released they gave him $15,000! Well, guess which daughter he gave a $1,000 to? This cute one, right here! haha. It was to pay my phone bill, but still Any money helps. It was nice being able to see him and hang out. Chloe isn't sure what to think of him. I told her he was grandpa and because she calls grandma "mama" cause she can't pronounce grandma she kept pointing at him going "mama" She just wants everyone to be mama She used to call me mama too but we had to change me to mommy so we could tell when she wanted my mom and when she wanted me

I had told the driver, actually and she spoke to the teachers and the teacher said that they will do that but the girl will need to remind them. So, yesterday went good. They took her before she came out to the bus but then today she came out really fast and I was like "Did she go?" and I told the driver to ask and the girl said she went but then she ended up peeing on the bus. Mom says she knows better and that she knows to say something but she isn't and the teachers aren't remembering alreayd

It has been going well so far. He said if I would like I can take the money he gave me for my phone and instead put it towards getting a new car and if I keep it under $3000 he wil buy it for me! I was so happy. I really need a car so I went online and found a few I like and tomorrow I'm going to hopefully go see a couple of them

Haha. Me too. It pulls to the left so we can already tell that the suspention needs to be realigned but that seems to be the only issue. It has 64,000 miles on it and the timing belt needs to be changed about every 60,000 miles, we were told, so we're hoping that means it was just changed! Keep your fingers crossed. I need to take it in for emmissions this month after I get it registered.
