So, Robert wanted to name her Sophie Lynn. Because Sophie was the name of the daughter of a friend he had in high school who passed away. It makes more sense to me in that case to name her Courtney since that was his friend's name. And Lynn is the middle name of a lot of girls in his family. He hates his family

The worst part of all of it was that he had such an attitude when he was doing it all! He prettymuch told me he has the right to pick out this name because I "picked Chloe's name". He never even put any names out there when we were naming chloe! and when I asked about it he said he liked it and I let him choose the middle name! He tried to argue and say he even bought me a name book but I told him I wasn't sure who he did all that with, but I assured that it wasn't me. And when I asked about Aurora Marie he became a complete d!*% about it and said right away "No. That is stupid. It sounds like a name from one of THOSE MOVIES YOU WATCH" WTH does that even mean?!?!?! Pissed me the heckv off! Marie was asfter his grandmother who raised him. She is dying and I thought he'd enjoy having a part of her but her name is Ethel Marion so I switched it up a bit and used Marie instead and when I explained that he was like "Marie has nothing to do with Marion!" He just such a jerk about it all when I initially wanted us to have a conversation about a name he decided to make it my choice or his. No in between. Sorry.... I'm venting It just hurt my feelings a bit for him to put it down like that after I was saying Sophie was a cute name and blah blah blah.... He's a controlling dickhead but you know what?! He won't win this! Sophie is probably his new gf's name or something... Baby's name is officially Aurora Marie!

I´m sorry for your situation Toni. If you ask me, I think it would be the best to choose a brand new name, not attached to anything - but it´s up to you. I find all the names beautiful.

Aurora Marie Chloe Nicole TR, you just pick MUCH better names! I don't like the name Sophie at all plus, really, he's already moved on (your still husband I mean) before you gave birth to your second child and he wants to decide on anything? Uhmm...

Tomorrow I will be leaving for Laughlin, Nevada.

And oh my gosh! My day took quite a turn! There should be a warning on my thread: "HAs a tendency to vent about her day!" Rofl. But I was lucky to not have been in an accident! In the middle of my day I am a bus aide. So I ride the bus and help with the kids. The woman I ride with has always been a questionable driver but recently it's like it's been a lot worse. So, the other day a driver pulled out in front of her and shot accross a median and all the way accross the street! And I was like "wow! That was ten shades of illegal." And she just looked up at me in the rearview mirror and goes "what?" I had to explain what had just happened to her! She hadn't even seen it! If we had been two second ahead of where we were we probably would have slammed into him and she would have been like "what was that?"

But today... Oh my GOSH!

Today, they were oiling some of the roads. Something they do here to keep it rom getting really dry nd cracking, I think. But they were oiling the turn lanes where we had to turn left. So, we were waitning at the red light for it to change and a little blue volkswagon in front of us went in front of the turn lanes when the light changed so she pulled forward a little to be in front of them too. Only problem, she was still blocking the lane we had been in! And she just sat there! She was like "I'll wait for the green arrow to turn." I told her the arrow wasn't going to turn because she wasn't in the turn lane but she needed to move because she was blocking traffic. So, she pulled forward to let them by. Then traffic cleared on the other side and the VW finished his turn. There was plenty of space for us but she didn't move because she was waiting for the damn arrow to change! Then the lights all turned red. And the other direction got their arrows. So they were all trying to make their turns around us and not hit each other! Then the arrows turn red and we have about a half a second before the other lights turn to let the rest of the traffic through. So, what does she do? Instead of completing her turn and getting the hell oiut of there she flip a U-turn to go BACK THE WAY WE CAME FROM! I asked her why she didn't just finished the turn an she said "it didn't feel safe..." Now, I don't often curse. But at this moment I just wanted to scream at this woman with a bus full of 4 year olds. "Are you fucking serious?!" But it doesn't end there. No, of course, the madness ensues. She turns right into a parking lot and then goes around to make a left on the rode we were trying to get to. There is traffic blocking our turn so she decides she's going to squeeze our BUS between then to make a left. Someone went to pull forward and nearly hit her and then there is a lady looking at her and yelling what looked like "what are you doing?!" And my driver is smiling at all of them waviing and saying "thank you". wait, still not over! She had completely open lanes to turn into but instead she turns into the middle TURN LANE and drivesdown it! She was driving down this lane for like 500 feet! There was an oncoming car that kept wanting to come over to make a turn but couldn't because there was a big yellow bus in the way!

Now my driver is a nice woman so I feel bad about saying anything but she has been driving reclessly lately and I don't think it's safe for her to be on the road anymore. I think I need to say something before she causes an accident.

If any of this doesn't make sense I'm sorry. I'm explaining it best I know how. I can draw a diagram for you if you want. Haha

honestly, i don't think i'd let my kids on that bus so i think you are perfectly right in feeling that way Ton. i think you should say something.

Thanks I went to one of my supervisors to see if there was any way to get myself put on van driving full time and then I went to another supervisor(that I've known since I was about 12). He is in charge of training mostly but sometimes if he gets word of drivers who are just accidents waiting to happen he will send wout his people on ride alongs and they could get taken off driving. I told him what happened today and that I know she's been going through some personal issues lately(which also mad me feel a little bad to tell on her) and I thought that she might possibly be bringing it with her on the bus because she seemed very distracted and he said I needed to speak with head of special needs but he will go with me. He could also tell I was a little uncomfortable with telling on her the way I had been and he just told me that when they are trainging new drivers, before passing them they are supposed to ask themselves if they would want their child on that bus. Then he asked me, since he knows I'm a mom if I'd want my kids on there and I told him one of my children is on there and I don't feel safe about it. So he said after all he'd heard he wouldn't want his kids there either and it was our duty to say something now, before she gets someone hurt. He said the way she acted today would be very easy to pass off to her that some of the people in the traffic had called on her and she is not setting a good name for our school district. Everytime she does something without thinking it's our districts name they see on the side of that bus.

so, mess goes down tomorrow and chances are they will probably demote her to monitor. She's 70 now... I think it might be best.. I'm just hoping when they tell her she doesn't ask me to speak to the head guys to fight for her to stay a driver..
