I hope the second one is much better, and the director will give Rob acting directions....like how to change facial expressions without looking like he peed himself

According to IMDB:

Filming for "New Moon" is schedule to start in March 2009. Summit wants to replace Taylor Lautner, there is not comfirmation about his [possible] departure of the film. According to Michael Capon's (:|) official Facebook page he has been cast as the new older Jacob Black. But Summit hasn't comfirmed it yet. Also, Catherine Hardwicke won't be directing it.

I saw Twilight at the midnight showing the first day. I give it a 9.5/10. I'm a fan of the books and I'll admit that if you haven't read the books (or at least just the first one), it might be a little hard to follow, but being a fan, I think they did a wonderful job with the movie. I only wish they went more in depth with the character's relationship, but if they did that, it would probably be a 3 hour movie or longer (not that I would mind ). I'm really happy with the casting (especially Robert Pattinson), but I really hope they get better special effects since they have more money now. I also hope they ditch Jacob's wig and find something more realistic looking (it might even look better if they put it in a ponytail).

Here is a recap of that night:

So, I am both giddy and exhausted from last night. I didn't get home until almost 3 AM because the movie was at midnight and didn't exactly start on time because we had a mini red carpet because two of the actors from the movie who are in town filming another movie. Anyway, I saw it last night and I LOVED it!!!! Michael Welch (the guy who plays Mike Newton) was at my theater for the red carpet event and so was Matt Bushell (who played Bella's Stepdad, Phil). They brought their other costars with them too, but I forget their names (they are filming a movie here in my small town called Rough Hustle at the Casablanca hotel/casino). Sadly, I forgot my camera at home because I didn't know they would be there, but I'm hoping it will be in the newspaper so that I can scan it in. Michael Welch was already in our local newspaper once yesterday for his new movie project.

I am already anxious for the sequels to come out! It was so packed at the theater. The theaters in Utah were ALL sold out, so some of the fans from there came here (I'm in Nevada) to watch it because it's only about 45 minutes away. You could hear all of the hormonal teenage girls (I kept myself restrained and cheered internally) cheering every time a new character showed up on screen. I am definitely going to see it again ASAP with my husband.

_______

So that was opening night. I did get to go see it again, with my husband this time, and I liked it even better the second time (probably because there weren't any teenage girls interrupting the movie). My husband, who hasn't even read the books, said he really liked the movie too.

If they hadn't changed so much about him, he might have looked better. The crazy hair and the awful makeup make him look like crap.

Robert as a normal guy, or Robert as Cedric was a perfectly good looking man.

But Robert as Edward does not work.

He was described in the book to such perfection, he was supposed to be baby faced beautiful....not rugged with a strange jaw.

I'm sorry but this is just how I feel.

that's what I mean...he was described a thousand times from Bella and it is said a lot times in the book that "Bella still can't believe that she's worth his beauty"....robert doesn't fit here-he's cute and hot...but still....

People Magazine is having a Poll on whether Taylor Lautner should return or not as Jacob Black,I didnt think he was that bad.

What do you think??
