Gisele on a new postage stamp In Brazil 

To close the 2020 Philatelical Programming, we launched today (29) the Mercosur Series Special Block: Fashion. 👗 The postal issue also celebrates the 25th anniversary of the largest event in the sector in Brazil, the São Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW).

Fashion theme is not restricted to clothes, shoes or jewelry issues. More than that, it is the expression of the essence of an era involving values of a nation, economics, talent discovery, expression of attitude, behavior, art, culture and aesthetics. 👩🏻 🎨🧥👠

The special block features three stamps with very representative images for the segment: the Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen, world fashion icon; the illustration by Filipe Jardim, who has already designed for major international brands such as Herm ès, Tiffany's and Louis Vuitton; and finally a photo of Bob Wolfenson, considered one of the greatest photographers in Latin America. 🔎✍️📷💃🏼

Gisele was the first fashion model I ever fell in love with about 12 years ago.

Because of her I got familiar with Alessandra Ambrosio and others as well.

Here are some of my older favourite pictures I found of her (lost many).

In the 90’s, after meeting Gisele Bundchen, I started going to Brazil for work more and more. 
There I met Mariana Weickert. She was always fun, full of life and curious about everything. We travelled a lot together and there was never a dull moment. Beauty is important, but it is at least half defined by an amazing personality, and she has one. 
Models usually appear in groups. I remember the Russian girls, the English, the Canadians, the Belgians and then the Brazilians. Alongside Mariana, there was Fernanda Távares, Caroline Ribeiro and Ana Claudia Michels. The 90’s were a lot of fun and a lot of that was thanks to the Brazilians!

Its beautiful! I finally bought my house in Miami after living here 30 years but my house definitely needs more repairs then this one. 😂

I like how it seems to have a lot of outdoor space. That is something I sure would love.
