Gomez is a household name herself now, I think she'll be ok 
You don't really need to be talented to make it anymore... look at KIM K and Jessica Simpson (girl doesn't even sing anymore) 
Even If she doesn't get good roles.. I can see her making it big with her own clothing labels and perfumes (as she does now) etc. If she doesn't have the talent then she needs to make sure she stays in the tabloids.. keep the public interested in her.

I think he's still .I heard rumors saying they're back together,and they have been spotted together again.
In my opinion,she's ok and famous without him,as for me,I knew him from her,when he began dating her,and also she was already famous before him.
