Sad fact: the LA Lakers, with 3 future hall of famers, will probably miss the playoffs

And now Kobe is out...
Just when the Lakers reached the 8th seed again.
Even if they make it into the playoffs, I don't think they'll can go further than the first round now.
i agree, without kobe, lakers have very little chance of advancing. their best hope would have been if injuries also deplete spurs in the first round, but i think okc will get the top seed

And with the Utah loss today, the Lakers are in playoffs.
But against OKC on the first round. Tough scenario for the Lakers...
I don't think they'll make it against the Thunder.
Edit: 7th seed!
Let's see how things go against the Spurs

Why am I here again?? ![]()
Ok, I guess I saw it coming, as soon as Kobe was down, but after the first two games in SA I was hoping that maybe we can at least steal a game from them. But the last two games SA showed their true strength, and there wasn't much the short-handed lakers could've done.
Btw, now Russel Westbrook is injured too. What kind of a season was this? Almost every contender besides Miami is dealing with injuries to key players.
Nevertheless playoffs are awesome. I love the Bulls-Nets, and Clippers-Grizzlies series. And of course Steph Curry. I love his game, and I love the way he shows how stupid the coaches were to not pick him for the all-star game. Hats off to you young fella. ![]()
yeah, injuries have completely altered the playoffs this year, more than any other year i can remember. playoffs have been fun to watch so far this year, but would have been even better i think with everyone at full strength. i wouldn't mind seeing a durant/curry scoring duel, both are on fire.
anyone still watching? some great games so far!

Two big surprises on these playoffs (for me at least):
The Warriors may not have made it to conference finals, but they did a great series against the Spurs. A nice surprise with that team.
And the Grizzlies beating OKC and making it to conference finals. I definitely wasn't expecting that, even with Westbrook's injury.

Pivotal Game 5 tonight
GO HEAT!

shit

Beat the Heat! ![]()

7th game!!!!
GO SPURS!!

The Heat are no fun...

LOL, I guess you must have really loved the one over Josh Lucas then
.

Ha, I was just thinking about that one today. John Lucas III, last season. I am going to go look for that gif.

Yeah, the Olympic one is definitely a good one
. On the flip side, one has to admire the courage to attempt a lat contest even when you know the cause is lost I suppose. In general, as to the heights, its worth mentioning that how high you actually jump is how high you jumped regardless of how tall the person was. The dynamics of jumping with a split are also different from jumping putting your feet over the obstacle as well.

The Timberwolves have been fantastic so far. Pekovic-Love is a great frontcourt, Ricky Rubio is Ricky Rubio and Kevin Martin gives them a very reliable backcourt scorer (which somewhat makes up for Rubio's Achilles heel).
They probably lack the pure quality for a real title run, but they should at least aim to survive one round of the play-offs.
Of course, one of Love & Rubio will once again get injured and make the above look foolish. ![]()
