Inception Triumphs At Asc Awards
LEONARDO DiCAPRIO's sci-fi thriller INCEPTION was the big winner at the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night (13Feb11).
Cinematographer Wally Pfister triumphed in the feature film category for his work on Inception, taking the night's top prize during the ceremony at the city's Hollywood and Highland Grand Ballroom.
Inception's big win came at the expense of other high profile nominees including Black Swan, The King's Speech, The Social Network and True Grit.

Shooting of Clint Eastwood's new biopic, J. Edgar, was disrupted on the streets of Los Angeles recently when two drunks unknowingly stumbled onto the film's set, leaving the film's stars, Leonardo DiCaprio and Dame Judi Dench, in roaring laughter, and RadarOnline.com has the exclusive video.
Legendary British star Dench, 76, was clearly amused as the 1930s style vehicle she and DiCaprio were traveling in passed the revelers, who were oblivious to the two superstars in their midst.
Gaggles of laughter could be heard as the car backed up and the stars looked into the stationary vehicle at the pair, who were unaware of their impromptu starring role.
Dench and DiCaprio star in the movie about the life of America's legendary crime fighter, J. Edgar Hoover.
"How do you feel about Leonardo DiCaprio pulling up next to you," asked the amateur cameraman.
"I don't give a f*ck," the boozed-up woman responded.
When asked if she had been drinking, the woman admitted "I've had two f*cking drinks" as her co-hort, in the passenger seat, appeared passed out and unaware at the commotion he had caused.
In J. Edgar, DiCaprio plays the famed first FBI director who was responsible for building the agency into a large and highly efficient crime fighting organization.

this is so nice, they are making a very good job with leo's characterization. This should be difficult for everyone because they shoot movies out of sequence, so one day he's young and more thin, the other day he's older and chubby, it's hard work!
