Leonardo DiCaprio may usually be coy about his private life, but the star has confessed to being a bit of an old-fashioned romantic at heart.

"I'm not sure I'm that good at defining the meaning of love," he told Parade.com.

"Am I an old-fashioned romantic? Sometimes I am.

"I've played characters who have gone to the extreme of love so that's a tough act to follow," adds the star, who is rumoured to be dating Israeli model Bar Rafaeli.

"I try my best. I feel certain things and I do the best that I can to show the people around me how much I care for them. And equally important, to show them what I care about."

Leo stars alongside old friend Kate Winslet in Golden Globe nominated film Revolutionary Road, for which she won a best actress gong at last weekend's ceremony.

This is stupid, people say that frank wheeler was the best role leo ever played and he doesn't get nominated but the movie does and so does kate. i'm a little disappointed. :mad:

Pop Tarts spotted the normally super-sweet Blake Lively scurrying to get out of the venue and expressing just how very upset she was about having to wait a whopping two hours for her driver (welcome to L.A and street closures). Leonardo DiCaprio was holding hands with his mama (while checking himself out in the reflection) while Hayden Panettiere was on her best behavior while hanging out with her folks.

Making their way out of Los Angeles after spending the week in town following the Golden Globes, Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli were spotted preparing to depart from LAX International Airport on Saturday (January 17).

With the “Revolutionary Road” hunk getting patted down as he passed through security, the cute couple happened to hit the terminal just one hour after Leo’s mother Irmelin hopped on a departing flight.

In related news, it was just recently reported that Mr DiCaprio has replaced Brad Pitt as the the face of Tag Heuer Watches - signing a three-year deal.

Of the new gig, Leo told press, “Heuer is a strong brand with a proven commitment to doing good. It is a great day when a company as respected as Tag Heuer explores a different way to do business - selling products and giving back at the same time. I’m very excited to start this new partnership, and look forward to a long relationship.”
