Off topic. Just some interesting comments of actors/people who aren't in Leos priviliged position.
Ladies I'm so happy. 🙂 I went to see the new Mission Impossible movie and they showed the trailer for Killers of the Flower Moon. I was so excited! It was a nice surprise and looked beautiful on the big screens.
^Cool to see the trailer on the big screen. I hope it will also be shown before Barbie.

It's really strange. I read this news yesterday and I don't know if it's true or not!
Some celebrities will buy public beaches for their privacy!! 😐
It's really sad that writers don't earn enough money despite their very important role in this industry!

It's not only writers who doesn't earn enough. It's almost everyone not only in movie business. So called overpaid "A list" actors like Leo who earn millions are a 1% minority only existing in Hollywood.
The whole system of Hollywood is actually a delusion. Most people can't even afford their health care.

@kellybsblover thx for your response. It seems like the movie will another bomb after The Flash and the latest Indy movie. Hollywood seems in serious trouble right now.
‘Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning’ Has Limp $56 Million Weekend
Sometimes I think Cruise is paying for all those rave reviews. In no world this whole MI franchise was ever that good let alone the crappy patriotic Top Gun pro military/war nonsense.

Unfair!

It highly is.
Also some folk seem to think the best way to support the strikers is to quit movies and streaming services. It's not.
And this??? F*ckin unbelivable 🙈

Great idea of Leos pal Mark Ruffalo to quit Marvel aka Disney and the whole big studio system. This would be a small step to stop greedy assholes by not working with them anymore because big studio are in big needs of big names.
The next question then is how greedy are the A lists? Would they except to get paid less in the future? Because lets face it their overbloated salaries are also part of the current problem.
Maybe this is the real reason why Leo is barely working anymore to relieve the exhausted broken system he's part of 😄

⬆️ I would very much like to see the conveyor of studio films (like Marvel, DC, Fast Furious, MI franchise and others) stopped. Seriously, this shit has littered the cinema too much.

^It for sure changed lots of things and stopped the existence of new generation of "a list" actors but I'm not sure if that's a bad thing per se like we learn now to pay those A lists ridiculous salaries other people don't get their own -much lesser- money. This can't be right at all nor is it acceptable for the future.
Sounds... promising
“Everybody’s probably overpaid at the top end,” Diller said. “The one idea I had is to say, as a good faith measure, both the executives and the most-paid actors should take a 25 percent pay cut to try and narrow the difference between those who get highly paid and those that don’t.”
Diller’s comments come after Nicolas Winding Refn’s dire outlook of the strike (via IndieWire). The Danish auteur admitted to being “all for” the cleansing of the industry — “Burn it all down to make it emerge again,” he said.

Former Paramount CEO Says Strike Could Lead to Hollywood’s “Absolute Apocalypse”

Commentators suggest that after the "apocalypse" the quality of cinema will be better. Who knows, maybe Leo will have more desire to work in the new system🤔

This IF the movie is released this year...
‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ is very, very, very early Oscars front-runner for Best Picture

That would be a really nice side effect 🤞🍀

Apple could still release KOTFM in October, we just may not get any actors doing any promotion for it if the strike hasn’t ended. Not good for those of us who want to see Leo do press junkets, but at least we still get a movie. Leo doesn’t seem to enjoy doing promotion anyway, so he’s probably fine with that.
