April? Weird, but let's see. At this point we will be lucky IF they release the movie...

What about this? American movies going to competition at Venice film festival that happens from 30 August to 9 September 2023. They can't go to a festival competition or not while on a strike, so if they are confirming their presence at the festival now than they know the strike won't go too far.

Movies can be shown at festivals and so can directors promote their movies. Just look at that directors line up even I'm familiar with most names: Polanski, Allen, Anderson, Fincher, Mann, Linklater, Coppola, Besson, Bradley Cooper etc
TIFF already listed Anna Kendrick, Ethan Hawke and Chris Pine under directors so they can put them on the red carpet and still follow the SAG rules - kinda lol
Also some indies are allowed to promote their movies like Lily for her UNKNOWN COUNTRY.
But the sooner they can find an agreement the better!

According to this article Apple will keep KOTFM to october release
Apple’s high-profile, Martin Scorsese-directed feature Killers of the Flower Moon, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone and Robert De Niro, is set to open nationwide Oct. 20 via Paramount after an initial limited release on Oct. 6. The film isn’t likely to shift, according to sources. While DiCaprio and De Niro are marquee stars whose ongoing support could boost the pic, Killers of the Flower Moon generated plenty of press around its glitzy, high-profile world premiere at May’s Cannes Film Festival, where Scorsese and the cast walked the world’s most famous red carpet. And, weeks before, DiCaprio turned up at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, to host a conversation with Scorsese before thousands of theater owners. (Both Apple and Amazon, unlike Netflix, are experimenting with traditional theatrical releases. Apple also has Ridley Scott’s epic Napoleon, starring Joaquin Phoenix, coming out via Sony on Nov 22.)

^wonderful news indeed
Wonderful news, despite all of the release date reshuffling currently occurring in Hollywood, Paramount/Apple are planning on sticking with the October 6th release for Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon.” The Cannes premiere was more than enough to justify a solid theatrical release, with numerous press interviews given by Dicaprio, Gladstone and DeNiro on the Croisette.

So netflix can't pay their actors but they can pay for the AI programs? Hilarious. I guess now It's time to stop giving our money to netflix because what are they without customers??? Actually I already quit my account when they shut down the account sharing.
AS HOLLYWOOD EXECUTIVES insist it is “just not realistic” to pay actors — 87 percent of whom earn less than $26,000 — more, they are spending lavishly on AI programs.
While entertainment firms like Disney have declined to go into specifics about the nature of their investments in artificial intelligence, job postings and financial disclosures reviewed by The Intercept reveal new details about the extent of these companies’ embrace of the technology.
In one case, Netflix is offering as much as $900,000 for a single AI product manager.
Comment ‘CANCELLED’ if you plan to cancel your Netflix subscription.
