When i heard about this incident it reminded me of another time where Leo had a close encounter experience. When his parachute had trouble back in 1996. Leo sure has an interesting life, lots of memories for sure!

Extremely happy Leo is ok though and i wonder if he ever made it to Moscow!!

I do remember him telling about the parachute incident on Oprah. To answer your question, On Eonline it said that leo hasn't booked another flight yet, but it says he has 5 days until the event. So hes got some time to get over the scary incident, and get to the tiger event in Moscow on time! Happy hes OK!

Thank God Leo and everyone that was on that plane is safe now. I remember to see this on the news and at the same time I thought on Leo, I don't know why, because they always say if someone famous is on this type of situation and it was in NY that this happened and I knew Leo is there but than anyone said anything about him being there, but now that I see this he was there is really scary and I'am happy everyone is ok right now.

Leonardo DiCaprio was able to make his $1 million donation for tiger conservation Tuesday after being delayed by an air crisis.

"En route to attend the Tiger Summit in St. Petersburg, Leonardo DiCaprio was one of the passengers aboard Delta Flight 30," a spokesman for the actor said. "He wishes to commend the actions of the pilot and flight crew in bringing the plane to a safe landing."

The flight was forced to make an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York after blowing an engine and dumping fuel. When the crisis in the air was over, "Leo signed a bunch of autographs for the crew and the passengers," a source tells PEOPLE. "Everyone is fine."

DiCaprio, 36, is joining heads of government from the 13 tiger range countries in St. Petersburg, Russia, for a first-ever summit to save tigers. Hosted by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, the summit's aim is to save tigers from extinction. DiCaprio's $1 million donation to the World Wildlife Fund will aid urgent tiger conservation efforts.

I think that all of us can agree with Mr. Puttin that Leo is real man in every single aspects! He's not just an amazing actor, but a generous, sweet man that cares for so many important things and helps as much as he can, with environmental, humanitarian causes, etc... And the best of all is that he do this with all his heart, it's genuine and this is the most beautiful!
