Thanks Ar,great cover (Y)

Great contributions, guys! And continuing with the androgyny... Sylvia Gobbel (Versace, Lavazza Calendar, Yves Saint Laurent, Big Nudes, Sie Kommen, etc): Viennese, one of the favorite models of Helmut Newton. In the picture (of Newton), wearing an official´s uniform of the French Cavalry at the Hotel Paris in Monaco. More images on her personal website.

Charlotte Lewis, model ("Special Assignments Only") and actress (Serie B films, principally), English, from Irish mother and Iraqi-Chilean father. Peter Lindbergh became infatuated with her: gave her the autumn/winter 1986/87 campaign of Mariella Burani and an editorial in Vogue Italia (February 1986) inspired by the indie film Stranger Than Paradise (Jim Jarmusch, 1984).
Martin Harrison (prologuist of the book Images of Women) and Lindbergh, behind them, some portraits of Charlotte. Image: Justin Creedy Smith.
In Cannes festival, presenting the film Pirates (1986) with the director Roman Polanski and the actor Cris Campion. A color photo of Denis Piel.
Models somewhat forgotten, that's a pity. Your posts give us many new ideas !
Thanks,PJ ![]()
Thanks, Aramis and Prejean.
I wasn't familiar with Sylvia or Charlotte. It's been many years since I saw the movie Prates, so I'll have to see it again sometime soon to check out Charlotte in it.

I don´t know but, for proposing a name, say Héléna Noguerra: she has a look similar to the "mysterious brunette" and also began her career as a model in the eighties.

Thanks PJ!we wait for the reply of missparker7 ![]()

I know that models aren´t strictly of the eighties
but, anyone could help me to identify the models with the question mark? (this is an editorial by Steven Meisel for Vogue Italia, July 1991). Thanks in advance.
^the blonde is possibly Sophia Goth
Sorry,dear,i can't help!
but that girl is not Susan Holmes ![]()
Well, this thread has its own "ID service" ![]()

You're right, spiralshaman, the short hair blonde girl is Sophia Goth (The Fifth Element). Thanks for your input.
I leave other suggestion, the model Maria Buccellati (A.K.A. Maria Cabrera): she worked especially for Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Maria is a blend of Mediterranean look with Frida Kahlo, I think.
Others:
Model with pink/white plaid skirt: Florence Digne.
Model (blonde) with the orange skirt: No idea.
Model with the black veil: Suzanne von Aichinger.
Model with the camel coat: Sylvie Gueguen.

Wow, great pictures.
Thanks for posting them, Prejean. I especially like the Lacroix images.
I think I recognize Maria from a couple of Dolce & Gabbana shows but I never knew her name. So, it's good to connect the face with a name. ![]()
Yes, great pictures, new interesting names... ![]()
Maria Buccellati is a name that sounds Italian but Maria Cabrera sounds Spanish... ![]()

Maria born in New York of a Spanish father and Cuban mother and she grew up in Miami. Here's her resume as a designer and model detailed. She changed her surname -Cabrera- by her husband -Andrea Buccellati, jewelry designer and entrepreneur-.
Currently, she is the owner and designer of a brand of swimwear, MB Beach Couture.
The blonde model with orange skirt does not know her name, but she paraded a lot in the late eighties and early nineties for top designers, although her name hasn´t been widespread. If anyone can help to reveal her identity...
A kiss, guys! ![]()

She´s rather like Willy van Rooy, but I definitely think that this is
.

More models: Marpessa Hennink, Celia Forner -Supermodel of the World (Ford Models), 1987-, Jose Toledo and Ann Duong (muse of YSL and David Seidner). D&G FW 88/89 fashion show.
