I get that all the time.” Two years after launching her career, Mihalik is riding high for Fall 2008 and starting to gain her own recognition—and not just as the Other Daria. A Gucci campaign coup and recent six-month exclusive with photographers Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin confirms Eniko as more than simply a newcomer. And with her new Manhattan apartment, Eniko is now making herself comfortable in the modeling world. Between jobs, her favorite big-city activities are long hours of Soho shopping (“I can spend hours in a store without buying a thing”), followed by raucous evenings at 1 Oak. Her real passion, however, lies in a slightly less glamorous location: the kitchen. “I love to taste!” she says. “If my eyes see something, I have to try it.” And she hopes someday to open a home-style Hungarian restaurant with food “just like my grandmother makes.” So, what’s cookin’, good lookin’?
