^ Pretty suggested it to me, and after watching it I was kinda like ermm okay? But i thought about read some of the background and ya I loved it
Forgot one earlier:

The Amityville Horror

@Limerlight have you watched Black Christmas (1974) one of the original slasher movies. Absolutely fantastic and a cult classic now. Also if you can get your hands on House on Sorority Row (1982 I believe). The original kind of I Know What You Did Last Summer movie. And another fav of mine is obviously Psycho. Absolute classic. Stay away from the 1998 remake AWFUL!! Try and stay away from horror remakes in general. They're awful. Last House on the Left and Hills Have Eyes surpass their originals IMO and My Bloody Valentine remake is also better than the original but nothing else.
I watched this at the cinema today. Was a wonderful gritty film with great performances by the 3 leads.

@Kevork89 I also liked the remake of The Fly (1986) better than the original. But I agree, remakes suck for the most part.

@Syria I'm a horror movie buff and that's one that I have yet to see. Jeff Goldblum's in it right?

Yes, and Geena Davis. Some disgusting scenes in that one but yeah you should see it, it's a good horror.

Tremors
Alien 3

''Keeping Up with the Joneses''
No big deal, just a fun movie.
Zach G being funny rather than weird/funny was a nice change
but Isla Fisher in lingerie was worth the price of the movie alone.

Dr. No
From Russia With Love
Goldfinger
Thunderball
Gilda

John Wick can't wait for the sequel.

Arrival
I'm still on a bit of a post-cinema high, but this might be my favourite film of the year. Where Interstellar came up a little short after modelling itself on a similar kind of premise, this delivered in spades. There's a real emotional story at its heart, alongside some genuinely tense and exciting moments. I loved it. ![]()
Villeneuve's previous movie was Sicario, which I liked a lot. His next will be the Blade Runner sequel, which on paper seems like an agonisingly bad idea, but I’m starting to think that if anyone can pull it off, he can.
