Jared Leto is the latest guy to back Emma Watson's superb campaign #HeForShe which calls for women and men alike to get involved in changing gender stereotypes and eliminating all types of sexism.
Watson - a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador - made the standing ovation worthy speech last week and spoke of how she had felt the need to broach the subject of feminism and how men are subjected to 'feminist' critique as well. She asked for men to get involved in the fight against gender inequality and it seems that many have been rushing to back her up.
On top of the amazing letter that a 15-year-old boy penned for Emma in ode to her speech, male celebrities have been pledging their support for the campaign on various social media portals. From Joseph Gordon-Levitt to proclaiming himself a feminist on YouTube to the likes of Douglas Booth and Tom Hiddleston posting pictures of them holding up signs with #HeForShe emblazoned on them, it's been a viral phenemenon.

Snoop Dogg and Jared Leto have been revealed to be among the latest investors in Reddit.
The community website revealed on Tuesday (September 30) that they have made $50m in their latest round of fund-raising with regular Silicon Valley investors including Sam Atlman, Ron Conway and Peter Theil among the list of financial backers.
Also included on the list are Snoop Dogg (real name Calvin Broadus) and Oscar winner Leto. They join Paul Buchheit, Jessica Livingston, Kevin and Julia Hartz, Mariam Naficy, Josh Kushner and Yishan Wong. Reddit state that they will use the investment to hire more staff for product development, expand their community management team and improve moderation and community tools among other improvements.
Jared Leto, who has battled music label "greed" as part of the band Thirty Seconds to Mars, sees no contradiction between his pro-musician stance and his investments in Spotify's song-streaming service.
The award-winning actor/musician has been popping up a lot recently as an investor,most recently in Reddit's $50 million funding, and he talked about his business philosophy on Wednesday in San Jose at the Techmanity conference.
"It's interesting. As an actor you actually get paid for your work," he said. "A successful makeup tutorial artist on YouTube will make more than a band will ever make, month-to-month, on YouTube. That's because the labels take all the money and they don't share it with artists."
