First Daughter with Katie Holmes

Katie knocks any movie down 4 stars out of the gate. it takes an unbelievable directing job to do any less. and with a bad director, she can turn that into 6.

witness Chris Nolan, whose movies are all pretty much 9+. then there's Batman Begins, which, if you edit Katie out, is damn close to a 10. as it is, it's hard to take it above an 8, because she just sucks the life out of too many scenes as it is, Nolan is exceptional, so he manages to only take a -2.

the only other exception is Ang Lee, who takes a bigger hit from a CG actor (Hulk) than Katie, who only took 2 points off of The Ice Storm.

next would be Doug Liman, who could only manage a -3 with her in Go.

I think anything with Hilary Duff is instantly shit.

and me and my (now) ex boyfriends fav movie is now terrible.... for obvios reasons: Gladiator.

Gladiator is AMAZING, but i dont have the heart to watch it ever again.
