I had Amazon pizza (supreme) for the first time.  It is the mega-corporation's challenge to the legendary Costco pizza and competes on value & price.

Overall it is significantly not as good as costco pizza but it is still a good deal for the same low price. The pizza is approx. 30% smaller than Costco but has more cheese and  toppings (a weak point of costco).  But the cheese isn't as good (flavorless) and the thin crust is inferior to costco and separates from the cheese.

I'd rate Amazon a 3.5 out of 5 and costo a 4.5 out of 5 for a value pizza.

This fast food chain's (Long John silver's) main problem is how everything is deep fried and way too salty (and no seasoning) & how 40% of the volume of their items is actually just batter rather than meat.  Otherwise the food's deep frying process is decent with a good crunch.

The calorie count is insane, i've never seen such high numbers before.  1 meal here could easily be around 1800-2000 calories

oddly enough there are tons of them off the driveway in 'middle america', where there is a lack of seafood restaurants/private restaurants in general.

Truly a grocery store for the super rich.  A gallon of milk cost $20- and I thought 'whole paycheck'/whole foods was bad.

LA is a corrupt dystopian wasteland like in 1980s sci-fi..

In Spain the szme. It is very exprnsive sll, not only the food. But pay more thsn

3 euros for a cookies box is ridiculous.

On another hand, where are the other tastes of Lu Pim's? Pear taste was too good to be only in Paris!

These grocery stores (I even have issues with Whole Foods and some of the stock in Trader Joes') are for people who are so rich that they don't look at the prices at all.  They just grab things and go.

Also a lot of the items are just all branding/ clever packaging- the product inside is often mediocre or even sub-par.

It's a joke about the prices at these stores being a scam for rich people who stopped paying attention to prices long ago.

These supermarkets and stupid products in the US ARE for rich people, not for everyone else.

This thing is viral on tiktok/youtube recently:

It's $45

It looks cool but I don't think the tator tots/mac & cheese should be piled up inside of the ribs.  It's 3 separate dishes mounted on top of each other!

I miss eating at these places, charred thin crust, salty pepperoni & very sweet/fresh tomato sauce, and a lot of oily cheese cooked to perfection.

I've been making bread machine bread (4th time already recently).  It never comes out completely satisfactory- the bread texture is always a little flawed with some wetness inside.

Had these chinese take out items recently:

The Eataly in NYC has far more stuff than the others outside of the city.  The prices are also terrible lol.

Overall, with so much restaurant price inflation it is no longer worthwhile to visit steakhouses for casual dining when good meat can be acquired and the same thing can be made at home.
