I had some stromboli, pasta, cucumber salad, and meatballs.

The eternal question: Stromboli or calzone?  Or pizza?

for me:  stromboli > calzone

Pizza is #1. but only if it is of a certain quality.  Pizza is quite variable.  Strombolis are harder to screw up.  Calzones are just worse versions of pizzas to me.

Another one of Chrissy's recipes- Chicken pot pie soup. It was AMAZING.

It's basically all the ingredients of a pot pie but you make the sauce thinner, into more of a potato soup consistency. And you cook the pie crust separately into a disk, and then crumble it to use as crackers.

Grill should be another home of the man.

I approve.

Slide, potato salad, pasta salad, cucumber, buffalo wings, munchkins?

My most frequented salad bar:

Takeout (around 3 pounds at a time- enough for 2-3 great meals):

potato salad, bacon bits (finely ground), spaghetti salad, macaroni salad, hummus, Caesar salad with blue cheese and baby tomatoes,  fried shrimp chips, and cucumber salad.

And I had a pint of Belgium red with a lot of freshly made potato chips.

Also had slices from a Cappuccino birthday cake!

No, those are meatballs with some kinda cheese sauce. Wasn't very good. The wings had some Asian-inspired sauce. Wasn't very good either. The potato and pasta salads were ok. I only finished the pulled pork slider and cucumber salad.

There's no bacon there.

Why slice it? It's not loin anyway; those are ribs.
