Two of Hollywood’s hottest names will be on the market soon, according to a shocking report from OK! magazine. Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes – who began dating since they met filming 2011′s The Place Beyond The Pines – are said to be going their separate ways, but don’t expect either of them to say so much as a nasty word about the other.
“Eva said the relationship had just run its course,” a source close to the actress tells the mag. “There wasn’t a lot to say. He was everything you’re supposed to want in a guy — great on paper — but she felt like something was missing.”
Eva Mendes: Is She Afraid Of Commitment?
One of the reasons the couple might be splitting, the source explains, is that Eva isn’t exactly itching to be fitted for a wedding dress anytime soon.
“Maybe that’s the commitment-phobe in her,” the source theorizes. “Ryan wanted more, and then realized that it just wasn’t going to happen.”
What a bummer! Ryan looks so hot in a tuxedo.
Ryan & Eva’s Split: Is Rachel McAdams To Blame?
Of course, Eva’s commitment issues aren’t the only possibility. The source notes that Eva and Ryan’s relationship first began suffering when Ryan’s ex, Rachel McAdams, reached out to him after she split from Michael Sheen in Feb. 2013.
“Eva’s always been paranoid about [Rachel],” the source explains, “so when Rachel reached out to Ryan, Eva flipped out.”
Yikes! As much as we’d love to see Rachel and Ryan back together — we refuse to believe The Notebook isn’t real life — we’re sorry to see another Hollywood romance fizzle out. We can only hope Ryan and Eva find happiness moving forward.

Following months of rumors that Eva Mendes was going to breakup with Ryan Gosling, new claims have surfaced suggesting the two may be planning a wedding. These latest rumors come after it was revealed that Ryan Gosling was initially considered for the film Foxcatcher.
Director Bennett Miller recently sat down with Vulture, where he discussed his follow up film to the hit Moneyball. The film, which is based on a true story, wound up starring Channing Tatum.
However, this may not have been the director's first choice, as Indie Wire tells readers:
"In the early stages of developing the true story tale about billionaire John du Pont (Steve Carell) and his ultimately tragic relationship with wrestling brothers Mark and David Schultz (Channing Tatum, Mark Ruffalo), the director 'thought of Ryan Gosling and Bill Nighy for the leads, and he also talked to Heath Ledger.'"
Of course, what everyone is really talking about is Ryan's gorgeous girlfriend, Eva Mendes. After it was recently revealed that the starlet is pregnant, the world has been obsessed with her growing baby bump.
Eva was capable of keeping the pregnancy a secret for a while, but now the cat is out of the bag. And, as it turns out, Ryan may have been among the many caught off guard by the news.
One source who spoke with Radar Online claims that Ryan may have been shocked by the pregnancy, because the actor isn't ready to settle down with Eva:
"[The pregnancy] was completely unplanned. Ryan was surprised, especially because they had broken up early last year, only to get back together... Their disagreements always come back to a central issue: Eva wants to marry Ryan, but so far, he has resisted."

Ryan Gosling is not only arguably Hollywood's hottest new dad; he's also one of the most excited! The Notebook hunk and his girlfriend Eva Mendes welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, on Friday, Sept. 12, and Gosling couldn't be happier — or more hands on!
"Ryan is thrilled it's a little girl," a source tells Us Weekly of the new father, adding that the Drive actor is, of course, "a little nervous" as well.
Although the couple have a nurse "helping out around the clock," another source tells Us that "Ryan hasn't left Eva's side" since Mendes and baby returned to her Los Feliz, L.A. pad a few days after the birth.
Lending a helping hand to the first-time parents as well are Gosling's parents, Donna and Thomas, his sister Mandi, plus Mendes' mom Eva Perez Suarez, and her sister Janet — with other pals stopping by with gifts, food and more.
"His family is now his number one priority," a source close to Gosling previously told Us. "He's accomplished everything work-wise that he had hoped and this is the next step in his life."
