...Except they sell (shitty) [insert type of coffee/tea here] at Starbucks... They put vanilla in it :yuckky:

That's how they make all their drinks taste somewhat tolerable.

I know right? Way to ruin an African delight, mannnn <_<

Btw, hey Ed! I have psych this semester and every now and then I think about you in class.

It was actually really neat! I still want to fuck to olympics in the ass, though <_<

Obviously it's gonna work out that way

Welcome to the team <_< you know how much and how long we'll be paying for this?

<_< You should tell me when your working so i can say hi

Btw they're gonna toll the port mann! WTF!??!?!?!?!? That's such a useful bridge....

Lots of people are against them I heard that it cost about $10 billion. And thats not excluding the cost for the road to Whistler. Sucks so much. School District 36 (which is the biggest in the province and the one that I'm enrolled in) is getting it's funding cut back so much... The schools arent even the best and there arent enough teachers, but apparently they're going to do layoffs and a bunch of other things to save money. They've even been talking about making summer break end on August 15th

Yeah, that sucks too. Its all about money from now on. What can we do though? It's too late. People should have been talking about this during the bid

.... I'm moving out of bc i'm not paying for this crap. I mean it looked pretty good, but still. Our government is so fucked here not only in BC but Canada it's stupid :| Really? Fuck... and you guys need all the funding you can get.. I know my old school got a bunch of cut backs i visited one of ym old teachers his workload is terrible.. August 15?!?!?!??!?! I'm so glad i'm gradutated.. you guys in school are getting fucked over. wow.

It is really... Fuck. Nothing we can do. So that means now a simple trip (for me) into surrey or abbotsford is 20 bucks and a trip (for you) into coquitlam or Maple ridge is 20 bucks.... I hate BC...

I know brah. You're lucky! I cant move out. I still have one more year of high school AND THEN university

Get out while you cannn! Thats so true. I mean, people have been complaining about the school district for ages and now they're doing the complete opposite of what should be done: Laying off teachers and cutting funding. All so we could show off for 2 weeks

Yeah man, such an inconvenience. Imagine if you have to cross the bridge for work :|

Well i'm in the middle of a hiring thing for BC Hydro that in 2 years (if i got it) would move me to Fort Nelson I hope i get it.

Ugh, your exactly right in what you said. For 2 weeks (cause hell if anyone cares about the paralympics) we spent all this money and stuff and for what? Maybe an extra couple million a year in tourism? Ya fuck off. Just stupid. Classrooms are too crowded and schools need more funding, especially now! It looks like all the kids and shit need laptops now here, and that means more tech stuff.

:| Or even worse for school! :| That would fuck you over so badly. twice a day 5 times a week so 10 times a weeks, at 10 dollars a pop minus lets say a month for holidays so 48 weeks and extra $960. And don't forget that HST coming, and the carbon tax will hit too. We're just getting fucked here in bc. And all we can do is bend over and take it.

I didn't really focused on what you said about Olympics and money and government, until I read this:

They've even been talking about making summer break end on August 15th

THIS IS JUST SO WRONG!!!!!! Ahahaha, I can't imagine coming back to school before my Birthday :| and well, just in August, when it's still warm etc.

So it was kinda weird to me when I visited Germany last year in the second half of August, seeing kids riding to school

And it's kinda strange to see you guys complaining on your place, since Vancouver is again #1 on the list of the best cities to live in.

All you need to know about the olympics and government Layla is they're bending us over and just telling us to take it.

Well like i've said before maybe neither of us exactly live in Vancouver, but we live in the general area that's classified as vancouver.

The actual town of Vancouver can be a nice place, but the homeless problems alongside some gang violence and drug issues make it not a very place to live. Trust me, it is not a great place to live in with everything that happens here, the constant construction causing delays, taxes on taxes on taxes. It's getting worse and worse and more expensive to live here. It's really sad actually, here can be such a lovely place to live, but we're getting fucked over so badly, it makes it hard to live here.

I'm sure when people come and visit and see what we have to offer it's nice and what not. And they talk to some people and much like the olympics they only talk to the people that enjoy Vancouver, not the rest of us that don't much care for it. That's what annoyed me about the Olympics too, everyone interviewed during the Olympics said they loved it! Our media was so biased.......

^ please, don't mark anything I write in red this way, I thought you were going to correct like every 2nd word of that sentence. It reminds me of teachers, always correcting tests with red pens

Yeah but problems are everywhere. There is no perfect place to live in...

Sorry That was just the part i wanted to highlight as to what i was focusing on. I guess red wasn't that best colour Sorry Layla

But it's true, i know no place is perfect, but when i see that Vancouver is one of the top places to live with everything that really goes on here.... It boils my blood to be quite honest.

Lemme just say that I'm not personally opposed to living in Vancouver. I love living here! I just don't like that the Olympics were here... They were pretty cool while they lasted, but I've been against them from day one and still would rather not have had them. I don't like how it's effected my school district already, and how it's especially going to effect me in the future when I'm in university, as tuitions are increasing and everything is just gonna get a lot more expensive. Thats all I'm gonna say! Vancouver and the Lower Mainland have always been very expensive places to live, but it's expensive to live anywhere where there's so much going on all the time. Some people don't appreciate the development that's occuring downtown, they just see $$. I disagree with a lot of what Limey said, but to each their own. I'm not the type of person to bitch and moan about the government, too many people do that. It's all talk, no one actually does anything about the problems that they see. Like Limey said "The government is just fucking us and we're forced to take it"... We're not! That's just how you think. The Olympics are an especially good example of this, everyone is complaining about it now that it's too late. Everything has been built, all the money has been spent, and now the government wants it back. No one listened to the people who said that this was going to happen, during the bid. That was when people had a lot of power over the matter. And now people are complaining because they don't want to pay.

Oh my gosh, actually

During the olympics, I was watching and American channel and they were talking about how supportive Canadians are of all the teams. Thenthat night I went downtown and everyone was just running around screaming "FUCK THE USA." Such a common misconception. Shows how much research new programmes actually do.

Idk, I asked cause I just got into it, I had kind of a marathon now-watched 3 or 4 episodes in a row, and 2 earlier today so just 2 episodes until I'm finished with season 1! (Yeah, I'm slow ) Even when some episodes are not very interesting, well... you can still watch all these outfits

Hm, it's probably pretty good considering how popular it is. But I've never had much time to watch tv. But yeah, clothes are always nice
