Overall this week was a mix. Monday was really really really wet (35 mm's worth) tuesday and wednesday were decent, thursday was kinda dark outside but a little damp on the roads and stuff and yesterday (friday) was dark with more light rain...

And i can tell you where i am, just not publicly

Oh and while i got ya here, what about that stupid HST coming next year?

Yeah, its been consistently overcast, recently But it's supposed

to get hotter this upcoming week. I think by midweek it'll be in the thirties!

Okay, well then I will message you Curiosity kills me!

HST!! Well, I guess the government needs to pay for the olympics somehow!

Thirties... As long as it's not raining! (Though we live in BC so that's a given)

Curiosity isn't a bad thing

Did you ever want the olympics here in the first place? I never thought it was a good idea, and i want to get out of here during the olympics (lots of flights in, it should be cheap getting one out)

Rain. Poofy hair

I actually don't think it'll be raining though, probably

not because I'm expecting it to be pretty sunny with

clear skies considering that it'll be so hot.

Now you know

Idk, I'm kinda impartial. I was really fucking young during the bid and everything so I don't have much of an opinion regarding the olympics because I've just accepted that they're happening. Um, it sucks how much money is being spent on the olympic stuff. But I like all the improvements & additions to the public transport system, especially the skytrain. Besides that, I really don't blame you for wanting to get the fuck outta here during the games, I wouldn't mind doing the same. It'll be so damn busy and everything is gonna be so expensive Tourists. And the odds of me actually watching any games, competitions, ceremonies etc. are slim to none. But I guess it'll be kinda cool to see our hood on international TV all the time

Hopefully it'll be atleast decent weather, with summer almost being over ya know...

I yes now i do know, and thank you for that

And yes, while the expansions to everything around here have been kinda nice, it's also been a big pain in all of our asses, as we should be paying for all this for years and years and years. And everything is already expensive. If you buy anything related to the olympics it's going to be like a minimum of $20, and that's just right now, imagine when it gets closer/ at the time of the games :| Hopefully they will not black out the olympics for us either, because there are some sports i do kinda wanna watch, i'm not going down in person to watch them. But overall i didn't like the olympics from the start, and i still don't like it.

But yes, get out of here during the games. If you have the money, flights will be coming in from all around the world, and they just can't stay in Vancouver the whole time, so prices SHOULD be lower (knowing BC they will be even higher to leave then come in.)

^I had the best monday ever!!!

I went to the planetarium and then went shopping downtown. I bought a RHCP shirt from The Rock Shop, on Granville (if you've never been there I suggest you check it out.) I'm really stoked on that! But besides that, the planetarium was most certainly the highlight of my summer. I love spaceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Hopefully it'll be atleast decent weather, with summer almost being over ya know...

It's gettin' warmer!!

Yeah, we're definitely gonna be paying for all these additions and expansions for many years

Olympic merch & tickets are ridiculously expensive, I'd like to see some stuff, but I don't soo that happening!

It sounds like such a good idea. It's gonna be packed! And so expensive! Madnessssssss

Do you think you look a little like Natalie Wood?
She's beautiful imo, so I'll take it as a great compliment! But I don't think I look too much like her. I'm not really a good person to judge, though. Apparently I look a hell of a lot like Katie Holmes, but I don't see it at all! Even though tonnes of people have told me so...

Granville Street is huge! I love it, there's so much to see The Rock Shop is big and black, you can't miss it It sells every band T-shirt you could ever desire and it was so hard for me to choose. I was torn because a Hendrix T, Bruce Lee T & RHCP T. But the Chilis own my heart The store smelt kinda funky, though

I also went to all these great antique shops & thrift stores in New West (yeah, I got around that day) and there was this one wicked shop that was dedicated to military & war antiques. It was so interesting for me because I'm a history buff!

It was really hot today! I was out in the morning and that was fine, but I fell asleep at my boyfriend's house and when I woke up we were like, "what the fuckkkkkkkkk." Tomorrow is gonna be even hotter, too My work has no air conditioning right now, so I know your pain!!

Thanks Matt!! I know! If you ever make it to Van, seriously, contact me!

What an awesome day. And your choice was very tough... I might of picked the Hendrix T just cause well it's Hendrix, but can't go wrong with the chilies. And of course the store smelled funky, we do live in BC

I know about the heat I saw. I work outside all day so it won't be nice, i forgot sunscreen today, not forgetting tomorrow!

Yeah, the Hendrix one was really nice But it was more expensive and I'd been planning on buying a shirt with the cover of Blood Sugar Sex Magik on it. So I stuck to my plan! But my boyfriend ended up getting the Hendrix shirt and now I have to stare at it and be jealous.

Well, I'm glad I don't work outside! But I do work at McDonalds and it's pretty hot & greasy there!

I hope it isn't too rough on you.

Btw, what's your name? I'm Portia
