YAY! Glad that summer school thing is over for you! What did you teach? I'm also glad you're on vacation! You work too hard lol Hopefully you will stay for a long long vacation!

As for me ..well I just got off my internship couple weeks ago so i just had some time "off". Then I went to New York to check out some colleges over there. Which btw are amazing!! Then shopped til i was broke lol. Oh and school starts August 31!

Haha, thanks! I'm actually on an excuse for a vacation. I had this week off and then I go back to school on Monday At least I'm enjoying it while it lasts!

You went to NY?!?! I soooo want to go someday...especially for the shopping!! Did you find a school you liked the most? That sounds like a lot of fun to go to college in New York, but I'm stuck here in boring Texas.

The school that I loved the most was New York University. Oh my god its the most perfect school Jess! The Library is like 12 floors and most of it is glass. Has every book, dvd, magazine you can think of! (wow, i'm a nerd ). Its super clean and there is security everywhere which is really good. Its located in Greenwich Village and its really pretty there because of the parks and stuff. Even though its located in Manhattan its really calm by the school. And the shopping - Right down the street they have all my favorite stores (Forever 21, Urban outfitters, H&M, VS, and so much more). The dorms are really pretty and comfy; they have a great view and you can choose the different style dorms you'd like and that's pretty cool.

Overall, its THE dream school to me

But you should visit NY sometime its def the best place in the world. I'm sure Texas isn't as boring as you make it seem lol. I'd love to go to Texas and see those Texas boys I got a "thing" for texas boys haha just look at my siggie!

So do you watch "So You Think You Can Dance"? Not a fan of American Idol, but I love to dance myself and find it interresting. They've never had a tap dancer to make the top 20 and now they have 3 good ones maybe this is the year . They have a lot of good contemporary dancing girls too and its only the first day of auditions .

I definitely want to visit someday! Texas isn't that boring...I go to Downtown Dallas a lot and places around my neighborhood, but it gets boring after a while. The only new thing is the HUGE Cowboys Stadium that they built and my boyfriend and I are planning on going to the NBA All Star Game there so I'm really looking forward to that!

The new season is in auditions . They've never had a tap dancer make the top 20 before, now they have 3 that look promising , they also have many good contemporary dancers and some hip hop and salsa ect. too .

Oh I didn't know that they did a season for auditions! I might have to watch it one of these days. And don't get me started with salsa dancing!! I love it! Any latin dancing is lots of fun :dance: I have a cousin whose wedding is coming up and I know by the end of the night, I'll feel like I lost like 5 pounds

I was watching a talk show and this girl was talking about how you guys have pickles at the movie theaters and when she came here and she asked for one everyone looked at her like she was crazy I dispise pickles though, they smell soooo good but once you put them in your mouth its like YUCK! :yuckky: :yuckky:

btw, what do you think about this year's VSFS? Better/worse than 2008?

Not sure how to describe it, but the show they aired on tv was HORRIBLE and I didn't feel like I saw a fashion show. There were a lot of good outfits on the runway, but it was a shame they didn't focus on that. VS needs to stop doing bits about finding models and allowing their models to wave their arms around and doing those damn kissy faces and get back to doing a real sexy fashion show!! The only thing I got excited about were the commercials! Overall, I think some of the outfits were a lot better this year compared to last year, but the 2009 show itself...FAIL.

Well, I still haven't seen the show, but Idk if it's worth watching, after reading all these negative comments about it :|

I didn't like it mainly because of the ANTM knock-off. I wish they would've focused more on the outfits and the actual models on the runway.
