I tried to remove the thing on paint and I think he looks better with that thing on... It fits the mood of the campaign better I believe, and they probably put it there to make him look older...

it's one of the most distracting things I have ever seen. For me, it doesn't add to his badassness at all. It just looks out of place in the whole campaign.
