Modeling-agency titans Ford and Wilhelmina are battling over a male model.
Brazilian hunk Francisco Lachowski, 25, broke onto the runway in 2008 when he won Ford’s “Supermodel of the World” contest, landing a contract that led to work with Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and DKNY.
The looker was “largely unknown before being discovered by Ford,” and was under contract with that agency until August, the company says in a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.
But in November Wilhelmina posted Lachowski’s image on their Web site.
“Wilhelmina wrongfully induced Lachowski’s breach of the agreement,” Ford said.
Wilhelmina declined to comment.

@MauiKane Thank you! I hope this is a very exciting turn of events for Francisco. I would love to see him be the face of a men’s fragrance or the face of a big campaign for a high fashion designer. He works a lot and has a lot of great clients (and obviously makes a lot of money for his agencies 
) but I would love to see him model more for luxe brands.
