Libertine from BZ? It seems like there's quite a few of us who like similar stuff around here. I think we should start a band

I dont get TV on the Radio's appeal. Can someone educate me on why they are so praised?

I think the critics are into them because it's hard to pin them down to a single genre. But I can't really speak too much from experience, I've only heard like 3 or 4 songs of theirs.

I'm not sure if it's out yet but I did see one great review of it recently. 'Loyalty to Loyalty' I think it's called.

...maybe because they have a good LA root... aka Echo Park! so call me biased!

I checked out Fleet Foxes on Matt's recommendation so the credit's all his on this one! I love the album though, I've got some serious soul-searching to do while I decide whether this one or MGMT is my favourite of the year

It's not a fair fight though, there's like 6 of the Fleet Foxes and only two of MGMT

fantastic, i think

when i first got it, even when i was tired of listening to it, i couldn't stop listening... if that makes sense

Ion Square and Trojan Horse are the best songs on the album (in my opinion )

they've started experimenting with more of an electronic and big beat sound influenced by dummer matt tong

good examples can be heard in Mercury and Flux, which is not on this album

so if you have heard bloc party before, this album is a good bit different from older songs
