Yes, old and ancient architecture can be yours in Italy but don't forget we have Norman Foster from the UK who pretty rocks a lot of modern buildings around the world

As for football, Germany has Bayern Muenchen, Spain has Real Madrid, England has Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United.

And great thinkers like Goethe is from Germany and don't forget Einstein is also from that country too. And ah yes, the world's best beer too :evil: (Check out the Oktoberfest if you can, my friend invited me to go)

But Italy has many great writers like Ovid (I read the Metamorpheses, great book)

Oh and don't forget, The UK owned a quater of the world not so long ago (in a historic sense)....
