dont get their shadow zone album.... unless you really like korn. There are like, two good songs on it, but it really isn't static-x as they should be.
Machine is probly their peak in my opinion, and their newest one start a war is like.... hmmmm, i guess its a more melody filled static-x.

anyone into metal, even in the slightest way, should buy Roadrunner United right now. 55 artists from the past and present, taken from 42 bands, coming together to write 18 unbelievably good songs. The feeling you get from listening to this is quite weird.

Metallica - St. Anger<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Avoid this one, please.

That is probably wise, yes. It's so sad. ![]()
QBall, what do you think of the "Load" and "Re-Load" albums? I'm wondering if those are worth buying or if they're just prequels to "St. Anger."

No, they're not, in my opinion... I think that Load is slightly better, mainly because Reload contains some fillers (the songs from both albums were recorded during one session, it's just Reload that got published a year later). I like Load and I think it should suit your taste. It was Metallica's heavy-blues period, pretty interesting. But you should also know that not all songs on Load are good, so there's always some risk to buying it ![]()

agree, Load is better than Reload, although it might take you some time to get used to the sound. I mean it's still Metallica, but the Blues tone (especially on Load) is kinda different, maybe you should listen first and buy later...
they are far away from what I know from St. Anger (the singles: St. Anger, Frantic and The Unnamed Feeling)
i need to get the new Children of bodom cd are you dead yet
^^ I heard a couple tracks off it on Music Choice
Gob - 'Foot In Mouth Disease'
