My friend, who has a superb male physique.. maintains a low body fat ratio by cutting out carbs (zero carbs) out of his diet 4-5 days every week. It works, but it quite depressing imho.
I think the VS and swimwear models do the same thing.

I love her body a lot but she got the "white girl" problem. Flat butt.
she needs to work on that & eat all the carbs she want. Vs models are no "role models" when it comes to diet.

Kiki, I think that the low body fat % is achieved by cutting out carbs and switching it for good fats and a high protein diet- cardio is not enough. Of course there is exercise, etc. It's the case for men at least and in accordance to my experiences. It is not healthy long term, of course. I think with the VS models they have a low protein, high 'good fat' diet. Their instagrams are filled with pictures of lame meals, often salads with fruits and nuts.
My friend, who has a body of deity, consumes 1.5 grams of protein per pound of weight. That is not good for the liver or kidneys.

That's true. VS models are a horrible example for normal women many reasons:
1. They are both tall and naturally thin (ectomorphs) so they already have an advantage .
2. They get paid millions of dollars to be both thin and in shape for millions of viewers to emulate. If thats not an incentive I don't know what is.
2. Their diets are absurd at times

3. Eating disorders among models are not rare and VS does little to stop them

Men are way different though.
Some facts:
It's much harder for a man to gain weight than it is for a woman on average
It's much easier for men to keep the weight off than it is for women on average
It's much easier for men to gain muscle than it is for women on average

The superlow Carb diet (aimed at depriving the body of carbs and burning stubborn fat deposits) was the point that I was getting at.

Her GQ cover is great. It’s really eye-catching at the store. I went to look closer and recognized her face.
Wow, is it legal to wear a suit like this in public ![]()
