Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2009 (PRE-SHOW Thread)

If i was to choose some themes i would go with.

Circus - Opening Theme. Have the opening outfit maybe like the ring leader.

Indian/Arabian Theme - Good, bright vibrant colours. Sexy lingerie. Seeing as how the Christmas lingerie looked very Arabian as well as Heidi's makeup line being inspired from India. This could be a possibility.

1920 Saloon - Could possibly be the PINK Segment. Young funky, cowboy style. That baloon outfit had cowboy boots and could fit in this type of segment.

Superhero Theme - I Know 2003 had one but that was very futuristic. I still like the idea of something funky and cool. And there was the whole Metal Cape being made. Could fit into here. Or maybe like a Biker kind of grunge rock theme.

I like the idea of a Moulin Rouge/Flapper style theme. Corsetts and dripping in jewellery. The whole Harlequin Fantasy Bra can fit ino this segment too. Something Can Can type early 1900s.

Those are the only ones i can think of working. And they all kind of fit with the idea of Fantasy. Which seems to be the whole idea for VS Christmas Commercial and lingerie.

I don't care what the themes are I just want them to be good. I'm lucky to live in Cali so when the show is taping its like 5 pm or whatever here. I stay up all night and wait for pictures. My friends know not to disturb me when the VSFS is going on. This will be my 3rd year looking at pictures on here and 7th year watching the show on tv. I started watching at a young age. 2 weeks feels like a life time

I want Hannah Davis and Esti in the show,

I think the 2007 theme for Christmas was tacky and over the top, but like Tori somewhat said the 2005 concept is what I'm trying to say. 2005 was an awesome show and it had some Christmas like themes in it, and the bright-fullness and etc, it was Christmas without yelling it. Like I said I'd be glad if they just blended the 2003 and 2005 shows. Also can we please have the big white wings back? To me it's like come on, they are a staple...I'm sick of the bird wings, and butterfly wings and etc. Just simple white elegant wings please.

One theme I'd love to see is a jewel/fantasy theme, where the girls wore very simple bras and panties, maybe some garter skirts, maybe a simple robe or cape in solid royal colors, with just beautiful matching jewelry, and then at the end march out the fantasy bra. Like for example, put Candice in a red very sexy bra, with a red garter skirt and red panties and maybe a robe and have her just dripping in rubies. Maybe have another girl in blue and have her have on sapphires and so on it'd be expensive but I think it'd be gorgeous.

Lost i like the jewellery/fantasy theme. I like the idea of vibrant colours. I dont think the outfits necessarily have to be over the top. Simple is actually very nice. Last year i found the jewellery to be dull and not as exquisite as it used to be. I think 2005 was so sexy cause every girl was just dripping in jewels. Especially the Russian Babes segment. I know its expensive but id say its worth it. The last two years jewels just look tacky and cheap.

I agree, what I want is bright colors, simple outfits with colored jewels designed and draped like the 2005 segment you described. I think Simple is always best, like the 2005 and 2003 shows, they were simple outfits but gorgeous accessories or wings and it was wonderful. Also the editing back then was much nicer as well.

a jewelry/fantasy theme sound great i would like to see emerald, amethyst, jade, sapphire, ruby, diamonds, pearl, blue topaz, peridot and opal. that would be awesome. I would have rosie with amethyst, emanuela with jade, doutzen with sapphire, miranda with pearl, chanel with opal, candice with blue topaz, behati with emerald, lindsay with peridot, ale with ruby, and marissa with diamonds,

As far as model profile. Remember 2001 was it? They did a mini profile of each model. BUT ... there were only like 2 really long segments and thats it. So maybe it'll be like that a little. IDK. As long as its cut down with all the celeb stuff I'm happy. Yeah, there were signs of that from the begining but it wasn't over done. It was always like Tyra or one or two others. But then ... everyone was doin it. I think you need a license to be all wavey and such.

No offense to VS but I know if they do another christmas theme they are going to f*ck t up thats why I don't want another xmas theme. If the last few shows had been like 2003 & 2005 then there wouldn't be a problem but it hasn't so no xmas please

I especially remember me, dizzy, MissLima, Joe etc being on here going nuts lol. Definately be the same this time around. Its a Thursday in America the show. So its Friday for me here. Its lucky im not working that day...

I’m definitely pulling an ‘All-Nighter’, I did it last year and I had too much fun doing so. The refresh button was my best friend.

I’m more excited about the actual taping than the broadcast of it. Obviously that'll change once I see all the outifts.

It is selfish to say I'm happy some of the models won't be doing this year? That perhaps without them the show just might be a tiny tiny tiny bit better? Also the Freedom video throwback sounds awesome. I'm kinda getting excited. 0.o

We stayed up sooooooo late hahaha i remember it was almost 5am & i was still jumping seeing all the photos & everything hahaha & the worst thing i done is that i woke up early just to keep seeing photos ... this show will be on thursday, so i think that i'm gonna miss classes on friday lol i just can't wait to see everything! I said i wasn't gonna stay up late, but come on, this is bigger than me -even though i'm not 100% excited about this show -
