4 days after Nagore give birth to baby ane, but we haven't get picture of her?

There’s good reason. We’re excited to be the first to report that Xabi Alonso’s wife Nagore gave birth to a little baby girl yesterday in Madrid, slightly earlier than her April due date. They’ve called her Ane (pronounced A-nay), and we are assuming she’s made out of marshmallows and fluffy bunnytails – which, will coincide nicely with two-year-old Jon’s warm chocolate chip cookies and firetrucks DNA.

"The key to winning will be to dominate in midfield"

Xabi Alonso analysed Saturday's match against Barcelona for Marca.

"We are having a fantastic run in La Liga. We've made progress in every aspect of the game and we can still improve. We defend well, which helps us to be solid in attack. Our strikers' quality allows us to have many chances on goal, which on the other hand can only happen if the team plays well."

"We all know which is the job we must do. We have true team spirit that has helped us win complicated games. We always want more."

"Real Madrid faces the Clasico from a good position. We are aware of only being able to win La Liga this season. The Clasico won't be decisive, but it will play an important roll in the championship."

"A team always tries to use its strongest assets to exploit its opponent's weaknesses. Dominating in midfield will be key to winning the match."

"We support Manuel Pellegrini completely because he has reat confidence and faith in us. Higuain and Ronaldo are true predators; they always have countless chances on target and score many goals.
