Supermodel Jasmine Tookes embraced her moment in the spotlight as she waltzed down the Victoria's Secret catwalk in Paris last Wednesday night wearing the $3million Fantasy – the highlight of the annual lingerie spectacular.
She joined an elite set of models, including Gisele Bunchen, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, chosen to wear the spectacular 450-carat underwear in the show that will air on CBS Monday night. What's more, she's the first black model in nine years to have been given the honor, following in the footsteps of Selita Ebanks and Jasmine's inspiration, America's Next Top Model boss Tyra Banks. And the moment was made all the more special because Jasmine's mother Cary Robinson, 43, and grandmother Sharon, 73, were sitting in the audience to cheer the 5ft, 9in, beauty on. But while the maternal side of the family can celebrate Jasmine's glory at the top, she is hiding a secret family heartache only those close to her will know.
Her father's side of the family was nowhere to be seen at the glitzy event in Paris.
