We haven’t forgotten the words we used to describe her appeal and it seems they weren’t badly chosen. We talked about the shock of the new she brought to Prada’s aesthetic as well as the way some faces are able to rewrite the history of beauty with their own features. Of course, it takes a good exposure and some great casting director(s) standing behind to make a career go on. With Russell Marsh and a campaign, Katlin has no reasons to worry about it.
Now, a girl who brings so much freshness to old concepts also has to translate it into pictures and the next step for her had to be some editorial work. Which she got in latest issue of Numéro. Translation was successful thanks to Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello who picked her for a story about roses, perfectly using the natural contrast brought by her extremely pale skin and much darker hair. Would be too easy, though, if a hair color and skin shade could turn the girl next door into an editorial superstar. It’s not about superstars anyway and Katlin has much more assets than this. Expressions seem under control yet the whole character she plays looks almost untouched and backed by a surprising body language, especially if you expect some stiffer poses from her. Lexposure
