haha yeah i'm on a laptop...the issue is that i dont have a number pad...so i cant do it by hand....but the character map is on my start menu...so its not too bad

look under the keys J,K,L they should have numbers, thats the num pad on a laptop. You should have a Fn key or something so u can use thsoe numbers, then you should be able to do (i would suppose) Fn+Alt+numbers to get teh chars.

i still cant get it...part of the problem is i'm having a lot of trouble holding down 6 keys at once...but also...it seems to be taking me back a page (every time i hit the 4/U)...so i'm still doing something wrong
