With boxers it's down. With briefs it's up.

I would think if they were of size .. left or right.. straight, down or up maybe a problem if they had a larger sized one.. most of the guys i know hang left.. funny thing is several of my friends one time actually had a showing contest of this. Boys do weird things when they are bored as a group sometimes

But I wouldn't really know anything about this.. I am a female, but i like it how ever it hangs, doesn't seem to affect performance which seems to count the most
