But, her kids name is Mint? Is that a common Dutch name?

From a limited google search, don't think so. Anyway, its an interesting choice for a name, I kind of like it.

It is pretty. It reminds me of the color, like a light mint green. It's weird, but the more I think about it, the more I like it, too.
