Gwen Stefani’s Post-Christmas Special
Gwen Stefani and rocker husband Gavin Rossdale take their two sons, Kingston, 2 1/2, and Zuma, 4 months, to a post-Christmas party at a friend’s house on Friday afternoon (December 26) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Gavin recently gave a telling interview about his family:
On naming his oldest son: “The stuff you read on Wikipedia especially is such rubbish. They have some stranger as my mother and the family names are all wrong. I’d like to complain to Mr. Wikipedia. How do you do that? Kingston is named for Kingston, Jamaica, not Kingston Ferry. So it’s really not that traditional. At least I don’t think there are a lot of kids named for Kingston, Jamaica.”
On Kingston’s music tastes: “He likes anything with a good beat. He’s big into drums. He likes my record. He likes Gwen’s record. He plays some Pharrell and Snoop. Anything that’s good for head-bobbing. He’s a good head-bobber.”

It looks like Santa might have brought a bike for Kingston this Christmas! Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale’s 2 1/2-year-old son, Kingston, was seen out riding his bike with his nanny in Beverly Hills.

He’s the coolest dude on the playground! Rocking aviator shades and a rainbow knit cap, Kingston James McGregor Rossdale made playing in the sandbox a fashion statement while out at Coldwater Canyon park on Monday.
The oldest son of rockers Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani, Kingston, 2 ½, was enjoying some alone time, away from 4-month-old baby brother Zuma! (No worries — the little one got some solo time with the parents last week himself!)

Here's Gwen Stefani's oldest son Kingston Rossdale at Coldwater Canyon Park wearing the hell out of his little aviator sunglasses. No other kids have a chance at catching up with this super-cool little dude. He's already way cooler than his dad and fast approaching his mother's status--and she's a pop star diva with a clothing line, for God's sake!
I don't know what it is about this little kid that makes me want to use exclamation points. I just get so damn emphatic!

Stepping Out With Our Babies
Stepping out for some retail therapy, Gwen Stefani, hubby Gavin Rossdale and their two boys, Kingston and Zuma, hit up Fred Segal on Melrose Ave in Hollywood on Saturday afternoon in search of some designer goodies.
It appears that 2 1/2-year-old Kingston didn’t get everything he wanted as he was snapped shedding a few tears upon the family’s departure.
Meanwhile, it’s going to be a big year for Gwen, whose otherwise kept a rather low profile over the last year. Her band No Doubt are expected to tour in 2009 while finishing their upcoming album, which is set for release near the end of the year. The band will be headlining the Bamboozle 2009 festival in May, along with Fall Out Boy.
