No. Borders are everywhere in nature; many animals delineate their territories (like wolves, lions or the vast majority of birds...). A border is permeable (like for cells) and it welcomes people (in or out), with a couple of rules. However, walls separate people because they inted to be hermetic, which is both impossible and crazy.
So as long as borders are not walls, they're not such a bad thing.

I'd consider it more of a sound collage/studio piece, but I guess it could be argued that the different sections are like verses and choruses.

I haven't discussed this theory in a long time (I actually did a "talk" on this theory in music class when I was a kid). Back then, I would have said that he did die, but now I reckon that he didn't

I think tensions within the band had probably been mounting for many years, but that Yoko's presence perhaps sped up the process of them calling it quits.
