Um, I just unintentionally changed the skin to IPB Pro (I mistakenly thought that was what it was already set to). Obviously I can change it back asap, but does anyone else agree that this is actually prettier?

I don't understand why you didn't just change it back to begin with I mean you could've asked us if we thought it was a better skin without actually leaving it as the default, no?

looks are subjective, as i mentioned i dislike the look and feel the normal is much cleaner. You should already know that since everyone loves/hates diffrent models here :trout:

That may be so, but the fact remains that the present theme of the site is an embarrassment. Indeed, despite the fact that it has 15,000 members, and over a million posts, I never would place this website on a Resume as work I have been involved in, or mention it as something I'm proud of.

Not because I'm ashamed of it as regards it's content, or it's people -- far from it. The content is incomparable, and the people are great. But the look and feel of it is amateurish and improfessional. And I am embarrassed of that.

Speaking of which, by the way, could you send me FTP username/password on either this server, or a test server (if it's a test server, clone the DB to that one, so I can experiment with an already 'full' content base), so we can start work on a Bellazon.com that we can all be proud of?

something we are trying temporarily for this machine learning algorithm. It changes the ads till it finds something that people like to click on, its still in the "learning" stage. Well see how it goes and probably revert to normal or do big ads for non members and small ones for members. We shall see
